Major trial aims to get kids moving in ICU to cut ventilator time

Summary
This large study is testing a new care program called 'PICU Up!' for children who are very sick and on breathing machines in intensive care. The program combines early movement, managing medications, preventing confusion, and involving families to see if it helps kids get off the ventilator sooner and recover better. It will involve about 1,440 children across 10 U.S. hospitals to see if this approach works better than usual care.
