NCT ID NCT07301684
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding electrotherapy or gamified exercise to standard physiotherapy helps children and teens who have finished cancer treatment recover better. Researchers will compare these combinations to exercise alone in 45 survivors aged 3 to 16. They will measure improvements in strength, balance, fatigue, and quality of life.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
therapeutic physical exercise, electrotherapy, and gamified exercise
What this could lead to
If successful, this could point toward better rehabilitation programs that help young cancer survivors regain strength, balance, and quality of life more effectively.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 45 participants, so results may not apply to all survivors. The added treatments may not provide significant benefits over exercise alone.
