First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests a new physical therapy method for children with cerebral palsy who have crouch gait (a bent-knee walking pattern). Instead of only stretching tight hamstrings, the therapy also works on pelvic alignment and strengthens the soleus muscle in the calf. Forty children aged 4 to 10 will participate, and researchers will measure muscle activity and walking improvements.
