Tech-Powered program aims to get latina teens moving
NCT ID NCT04190225
Summary
This study tested a personalized program designed to help inactive Latina teenagers become more physically active. Researchers compared a comprehensive approach using one-on-one counseling, a tailored website, text messages, and Fitbit trackers against just using a Fitbit alone. The goal was to see if the full program could help these teens establish healthier habits to prevent future health issues like obesity and diabetes.
