Sitting less, moving more: awareness training tested in young adults
NCT ID NCT07429682
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a 10-week education program about physical activity could help healthy but sedentary young adults (ages 18-25) improve their fitness and exercise habits. Some participants also took a weekly group exercise class. The goal was to see if awareness training alone or with exercise boosts muscle endurance and activity levels. The study is complete and aimed at understanding how to encourage more movement in young people.
