First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests a light-activated drug (ALA-PDT) against simply watching and waiting for cervical low-grade lesions linked to HPV types 16 or 18. About 225 women aged 20-60 will take part. The goal is to see if the therapy can make the lesions disappear and clear the virus, potentially avoiding more invasive treatments.
