Summary
This study tested whether adding photobiomodulation (light) therapy to standard care helps heal stress fractures in the foot or shin faster. 105 military trainees received either active or sham light therapy for up to 6 weeks. Researchers measured how quickly they could return to duty and tracked pain levels. The goal was to see if this simple treatment could speed recovery and reduce pain.
