First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This pilot study tests whether a 6-week telephone therapy program (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) can help young adults in Hong Kong reduce their alcohol use. 60 participants aged 18-25 who drink at hazardous levels will be randomly assigned to either the therapy group or a support group. The study will measure how feasible the program is and whether it leads to less drinking over 6 months.
