Phone calls help people take control of their diabetes
NCT ID NCT07383532
Summary
This study tested whether providing diabetes education along with follow-up phone calls helps adults with type 2 diabetes manage their condition better. Seventy participants were split into two groups: one received the education and calls, while the other received standard care. Researchers measured how well people managed their blood sugar, diet, and exercise, and how confident they felt about their medications.
