First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at whether two phone calls during the first three rounds of chemotherapy could improve mood and reduce anxiety in patients with breast, colon, or rectal cancer. 274 patients took part. The calls aimed to provide support and help manage side effects. The goal was to see if this simple approach could make patients feel better emotionally during treatment.
