Your phone could stop you from falling after a heart event
NCT ID NCT05826587
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a home-based balance and strength exercise program, delivered through a smartphone app, to standard cardiac rehab helps people feel more confident, function better, and reduces their risk of falling. Researchers will compare two groups: one doing standard rehab and another doing standard rehab plus the special home exercises. They want to see if the extra exercises improve daily activities, balance confidence, and quality of life for 128 participants.
