Can your phone help heal your memory? new app tested for brain injury

NCT ID NCT06375421

Summary

This study tested a new smartphone app called MEMI, designed to help adults with long-term memory problems from a past traumatic brain injury. Researchers wanted to see if the app was easy to use and if its method of giving short, frequent memory practice sessions throughout the day could improve word recall. The study involved 40 people, some with brain injuries and some without, to compare results.
