First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a portable robotic device called PhiCube that helps children aged 4 to 18 with neuromotor disorders (like cerebral palsy) or coordination difficulties improve arm movement. The device uses games to make therapy fun, with 30 sessions over 3 months. Researchers will measure changes in movement quality and daily activities to see if it works.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a new, engaging way to improve arm function and coordination in children with movement disorders.
What could go wrong
This is an early pilot study with only 54 participants, so results may not apply to all children. The device is new and its benefits over standard therapy are not yet proven.
