Summary
This study tests whether a phenylalanine-free diet can safely lower high blood phenylalanine levels in critically ill adults in the intensive care unit. High phenylalanine is linked to serious problems like brain dysfunction and metabolic issues. The trial will enroll 100 patients and measure changes in phenylalanine levels before and after the diet.
