Summary

This study tested whether community pharmacists in France could effectively manage uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women using a specific protocol. It aimed to provide faster relief for common symptoms when doctors aren't immediately available. The research involved 145 women with recent UTI symptoms to see if pharmacist-led care could safely reduce symptoms and prevent unnecessary emergency visits.
