Can a Pharmacist's call ease your pacemaker pain?

NCT ID NCT06748482

Summary

This study tested whether advice from a clinical pharmacist could help people better manage pain after getting a pacemaker. It involved 60 patients who were split into two groups: one received standard care, and the other got extra support from a pharmacist through in-person and phone check-ins. The researchers measured pain levels, medication use, and overall quality of life over 10 days to see if the pharmacist's guidance made a difference.
