Virus vs. superbug: first patient sought for groundbreaking lung infection trial

NCT ID NCT07429162

Summary

This is an early safety study for a single patient with a severe, antibiotic-resistant lung infection. It will test a new therapy that uses special viruses (called phages) designed to attack the bacteria, given alongside standard antibiotics. The goal is to see if this combination can reduce the amount of bacteria in the lungs and improve the patient's breathing and health.
