First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests a new treatment using viruses (called phages) that specifically target E. coli bacteria in the urine of adults with spinal cord injury and neurogenic bladder. The goal is to see if the therapy is safe and can control bacteria without causing symptoms. Thirty participants will receive either the phage therapy or a placebo, and researchers will monitor side effects and how the body processes the treatment.
