Blood test breakthrough for predicting lung disease survival?
NCT ID NCT07253363
Summary
This study aims to find out if two specific proteins in the blood, called Activin-A and FSTL3, can help doctors predict how patients with pulmonary hypertension will fare over time. It will follow 550 adults with different types of this serious lung and heart condition. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better, more personalized care in the future, but it does not test a new treatment.
