Heart hole plug gets Real-World test to stop strokes

NCT ID NCT06120270

Summary

This study is collecting real-world data on a device used to close a small, common hole in the heart called a Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO). It will follow 180 patients for two years after their procedure to see how well the device works and how safe it is. The goal is to see if closing the PFO successfully helps prevent future strokes, mini-strokes (TIAs), or migraines.
