Summary

This study tests whether doing pelvic floor muscle exercises during a first pregnancy can reduce the chance of urinary incontinence, anal incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse after childbirth. About 734 first-time mothers will be assigned to either a training program or standard care. The main goal is to see if the exercises help keep pelvic floor disorders at bay three months after delivery.
