Pfizer tests new kidney drug in healthy volunteers
NCT ID NCT07235150
Summary
This is an early safety study for a potential new medicine called PF-07985631, which is being developed to treat a serious kidney disease called IgA nephropathy. The study will give single injections of the drug to healthy adult volunteers to check for side effects and see how the body processes it. Researchers will compare the experiences of people receiving the drug to those receiving a placebo (an inactive shot) to determine if it's safe enough for further testing in patients.
