Scientists track tiny radioactive dose to map Drug's journey

NCT ID NCT07423286

Summary

This study aimed to understand how a new Pfizer drug candidate, PF-07248144, is absorbed and processed by the body. Eight healthy adult volunteers received the drug both by mouth and by IV, with a tiny, safe radioactive marker to help track it. Researchers collected blood, urine, and stool samples to measure exactly how much drug entered the bloodstream and how the body eliminated it.
