New heart ablation method could improve irregular beat treatment

Summary

This study tests whether adding extra heart tissue isolation to standard ablation helps people with persistent atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat). About 350 adults will receive either standard ablation or an enhanced version guided by voltage mapping. The goal is to see which approach better prevents heart rhythm problems over 12 months.
