New drug absorption study aims to improve future eczema treatments
NCT ID NCT07172321
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at how an experimental medicine called PF-08049820 moves through the body when taken in different forms (fast-release and slow-release tablets) and with or without food. Twelve healthy adults each tried five versions of the medicine, with blood samples taken for up to 72 hours after each dose. The results will help researchers choose the best tablet form for future studies in people with atopic dermatitis (eczema).
