First human tests begin for new kidney disease drug
NCT ID NCT06994897
Summary
This is an early safety study testing a new medicine called PF-07985631, which is being developed to treat a kidney disease called IgA nephropathy. The study involves 92 healthy adult volunteers who will receive either the study medicine or a placebo (inactive substance) via injection or IV infusion. Researchers will closely monitor participants to see how the body processes the medicine and to check for any side effects, helping determine if it's safe to test in people with the actual disease.
