Can a brain scan predict Cancer's return?

NCT ID NCT05222269

Summary

This study aimed to see if a special type of PET scan, using a tracer called [68Ga]Ga-PentixaFor, could predict how well patients with primary or isolated secondary brain lymphoma would respond to chemotherapy. The goal was to check if a scan taken partway through treatment could accurately forecast whether the cancer would stay away or come back. The study was terminated early after enrolling only one patient.
