Scanning for success: can a simple test predict cancer treatment outcomes?

NCT ID NCT07448727

Summary

This study aims to learn if a PET scan taken six weeks after starting immunotherapy can predict how well the treatment will work months later for people with advanced head and neck cancer. Researchers will observe 25 patients receiving standard pembrolizumab treatment and track their scan results. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors make better treatment decisions faster in the future.
