New scan aims to map cervical cancer more clearly before surgery

Summary

This study is testing a combined PET/MRI scan to see if it can accurately measure how deep early-stage cervical cancer has grown into the cervix. It involves 25 patients who are scheduled for surgery to remove their cancer. The goal is to see if this detailed scan can provide better information for surgical planning than current methods.
