First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a special PET-MRI scan using 18F-Fluciclovine can help doctors tell the difference between actual tumor growth and harmless changes that happen after treatment in children with high-grade glioma. About 30 children aged 1 to 21 with this type of brain cancer will receive the scan. The goal is to improve diagnosis and avoid unnecessary treatments.
