New scan battle: which sees ovarian cancer better?

NCT ID NCT03965481

Summary

This study is testing whether a newer type of combined PET/MR scan is better than the standard CECT scan at finding ovarian cancer tumors and predicting if they can be fully removed by surgery. About 21 patients with known or suspected ovarian cancer will receive both scans before their planned surgery. The goal is to see if the newer scan gives doctors more accurate information to guide treatment decisions.
