New PET tracer could reveal hidden immune clues in lung cancer
NCT ID NCT05933239
First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a new imaging agent (68GaNOTA-anti-MMR-VHH2) that attaches to certain immune cells (macrophages) in lung tumors. About 20 adults with non-small cell lung cancer scheduled for surgery will receive a PET scan with this tracer before their operation. The goal is to see if the scan matches lab tests of the removed tumor tissue, which could help doctors better understand and diagnose lung cancer in the future.
