Summary

This study looks at why some people with HIV develop Immune Reconstitution Inflammatory Syndrome (IRIS) soon after starting HIV medications. Researchers will use PET scans, blood tests, and lymph node biopsies to track inflammation and immune recovery in 300 adults. The goal is to learn the causes of IRIS so it can be better prevented and treated.
