New scan aims to spot hidden tumors more clearly
NCT ID NCT07379463
Summary
This study is testing a special type of PET/CT scan to see if it can better find and diagnose tumors in patients with certain conditions, including brain tumors (glioma) and a hormone disorder. Researchers will scan 500 adult patients who are suspected of having or have been treated for these tumors. The goal is to measure how accurate this scan is at spotting both new tumors and cancer that has come back.
