Smart scans could spare lymphoma patients from extra chemo

NCT ID NCT03758989

First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 24, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether PET scans and blood tests for tumor DNA can help doctors adjust chemotherapy for people with early-stage diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). About 40 participants will receive standard R-CHOP treatment, and their response will be monitored with imaging and blood tests. The goal is to see if these tools can identify who needs less or more treatment, potentially reducing side effects while maintaining effectiveness.
