First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study is observing 400 children in intensive care who need a breathing tube. Researchers want to see if the amount of air leaking around the tube can predict stridor (noisy, difficult breathing) after the tube is removed. The goal is to better understand and potentially prevent this complication.
