First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at how adjusting breathing machine settings and body position can improve lung function in people with moderate-to-severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Researchers will use a special imaging technique to see which parts of the lung are getting air and blood flow. The goal is to find the best personalized approach for each patient, but this study does not test a new treatment—it only observes and measures.
