First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study aims to see if creating personalized profiles for children with disruptive behavior disorders and their parents can help predict which treatment works best. Researchers will assess psychological, emotional, and neuropsychological factors before treatment. About 200 children and their parents will receive either child cognitive behavioral therapy or parent training, and changes in parenting skills, confidence, and child behavior will be tracked for up to a year. The goal is to make treatment more effective by matching it to each family's needs.
