Genetic blueprint trial aims to outsmart rare cancers
NCT ID NCT03784014
Summary
This large study is testing whether analyzing a patient's tumor genetics can lead to more effective, personalized treatment for advanced soft-tissue sarcoma. About 600 patients will be randomly assigned to either receive treatment based on their genetic test results or receive standard treatment. The main goal is to see if this 'precision medicine' approach helps patients live longer without their cancer worsening compared to usual care.
