Custom radiation doses aim to zap liver tumors more precisely
NCT ID NCT03896646
Summary
This study is testing a more personalized way to deliver radiation treatment for advanced liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Doctors aim to give a stronger, more precise dose of radiation directly to the tumor while trying to better protect the healthy parts of the liver. The goal is to see if this tailored approach leads to better tumor shrinkage and outcomes for patients.
