Scientists grow Mini-Tumors to find your best cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT07004582
Summary
This study aims to improve treatment for aggressive prostate cancer by testing drugs on mini-tumors grown from a patient's own cancer cells in a lab. Researchers will compare two different lab techniques to see which one better predicts which treatment will work for each individual. The goal is to help doctors choose the most effective therapy right from the start, potentially improving survival for men with high-risk or metastatic prostate cancer.
