Summary

This study aims to create a personalized pain relief plan for children aged 10 to 21 undergoing spine fusion surgery. Researchers will look at how a child's genes affect their response to opioid painkillers, with the goal of reducing side effects like breathing problems and nausea while improving pain control. The study will enroll 300 participants and follow them for up to one year after surgery.
