Can a simple vitamin pill stop dangerous pregnancy blood pressure?
NCT ID NCT04723836
Summary
This study is testing whether taking specific B-vitamins (riboflavin and folate) can help prevent high blood pressure during pregnancy for women who have a particular genetic trait. Researchers are enrolling 2,250 pregnant women in their first trimester to see if this personalized, non-drug approach works. They will also check if the supplements affect the baby's blood pressure in early childhood.
