Summary
This study tested a personalized nutrition plan for 40 men with gastric cancer who were having surgery. The plan included extra amino acids to help prevent muscle loss and fat buildup in muscles. Researchers measured changes in muscle quality and recovery one week before and four weeks after surgery. The goal was to see if this tailored diet could improve outcomes after cancer surgery.
