Could your genes help your pharmacist pick safer meds?

NCT ID NCT06660264

Summary

This study is testing if a personalized medication review from a pharmacist is more effective when it includes a person's genetic test results. It involves 600 adult employees from the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC health system who have already had genetic testing. Researchers will compare if reviews with genetic information lead to better medication outcomes and lower healthcare costs than reviews without it.
