Digital tool aims to sharpen aim of Cancer-Killing beads

NCT ID NCT07315633

Summary

This study is developing a computer-based planning tool to make a common liver cancer treatment more precise. The treatment involves injecting tiny radioactive beads into the liver's blood vessels to attack tumors. Researchers will use patient scans to create digital models, hoping to better predict how the beads spread so doctors can maximize tumor damage while protecting healthy liver tissue.
