Custom radiation doses target liver cancer more precisely

NCT ID NCT03896646

Summary

This study tests whether customizing radiation doses for each patient's liver cancer can improve treatment results. Researchers are giving 42 patients with advanced, inoperable liver cancer precisely measured radiation doses directly to their tumors. The goal is to see if personalized dosing destroys more cancer cells while better protecting healthy liver tissue compared to standard one-size-fits-all approaches.
