DNA-Guided diabetes treatment trial seeks better control
NCT ID NCT06851962
Summary
This study is testing whether using patients' genetic information to select diabetes medications works better than standard treatment. Researchers will compare two groups of 504 adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar isn't well controlled. One group will receive medications chosen based on their genetic profile, while the other gets standard care, to see which approach helps more people reach their blood sugar targets.
