Summary
This study tested whether taking magnesium supplements could help prevent colorectal cancer in people at higher risk. Researchers enrolled 250 people who had a specific genetic marker and diets high in calcium relative to magnesium. The goal was to see if adjusting this dietary balance could change biological markers linked to cancer development in the colon.
