Scientists test new way to match advanced cancer patients with drugs

NCT ID NCT06024603

Summary

This study is testing whether a personalized approach can help guide treatment for adults with advanced cancers that have returned or stopped responding to standard treatments. Researchers will test cancer cells from 36 participants in a lab to see which drugs they respond to, then share those results with doctors to help inform treatment decisions. The goal is to see if this personalized testing approach is practical and can be done quickly enough to help patients.
